Once again Stock*pile comics will roll into Bethesda, MD for the small press expo (as long as the check makes it safely to its destination. )
-Joel-
we now return you to the weekly sketches already in progress.
Joel and I decided to hold off on offering physical copies of Forever Winter #1 and Man-Gull #1 for sale until after SPX to make sure we had enough copies to go around. Well, guess what…SPX is over and the Stock*Pile Comics Webstore is officially open for business.
You can now order digital downloads of both of our books for a little over $1 or actual comics that you can hold in your hands for $5 each, plus shipping. I’ll be signing every copy of Man-Gull I sell unless a request is made not to, and I’d imagine that Joel will do the same with Forever Winter.
For any newcomers, here’s a rundown of what we’re selling:

FOREVER WINTER #1 by Joel Lolar
Following the one clue at his disposal (the name “Elrik”), James sets out into a post-apocalyptic New England to track down his father’s murderer with little more than a coat on his back and a sword at his side. Nothing but the harsh, unforgiving elements and untold miles of snow-covered roads stand between James and his bloody revenge.

MAN-GULL #1 by Rian Miller
Normally, a double dismembering would draw the attention of every law officer in the small town of Pleasant Point. However, with a string of serial kidnappings keeping the majority of the police force busy, the weight of this bizarre case falls solely upon the shoulders of Detective Nick Obecks.
Who is behind the disappearances of multiple young women? What would compel someone to cut off both of poor John Moxon’s arms? And where is Nick going to sleep now that his girlfriend has kicked him out? Find out in Man-Gull #1.

Forever Winter – There’s those comics you hold in your hand and have to get, this was that one. It started off as a webcomic, the art is solid and haunting with what looks to be an excellent story about serial killer and the backdrop of a world of dark clouds and endless snow.
